Make a wish: Amy Bruce... disappear!

Chain Letters... They make me #@!%&. I tend to delete them when I receive it, untill I got this one:

Hi, my name is Amy Bruce. I am 7 years old, and I have severe lung cancer. I also have a large tumor in my brain, from repeated beatings. Doctors say I will die soon if this isn't fixed, and my family can't pay the bills. The Make A Wish Foundation, has agreed to donate 7 cents for every time this message is sent on. For those of you who send this along, I thank you so much, but for those who don't send it, what goes around comes around. Have a Heart, please send this. Please, if you are a kind person, send this on.
YOUR'S FAITHFULLY,
AMY BRUCE
(PLEASE HELP ME LIVE LIKE YOU DO)

What would your normal reaction be to the e-mail?

Then I visited the page here that said the following:

Amy Bruce (also known as 15-year old Kayla Wightman)
This Internet-based chain letter claims that a 7-year-old girl named Amy Bruce, who is suffering from a brain tumor and lung cancer, will receive 7 cents from the Make-A-Wish Foundation® each time her letter is forwarded via e-mail. This request is false. The International office of the Foundation has contacted the originator's Internet service provider to pursue the matter.

I feel it is unfair for people to create false stories like these when there is still caring people around the world. This is not the first time I received this particular e-mail. Please stop sending this to me, because soon I will get cries of help and just stop caring any longer.

Vakansie foto's

Vakansie foto's

The eye of God

One of my drama buddies forwarded this to me... Quote: "This is a picture NASA took with the hubble telescope, called the Eye of God".

Then the e-mail continues, saying: "This photo is a very rare one/This kind of event occurs once in 3 000 years/This photo has done miracles in many lives/Make a wish... you have looked at the eye of God".

I will leave the comments up to you.

Vodacom Journalist of the Year

I have been invited to the regional awards of the Journalist of the Year 2006 competition. Now, my problem is that I am in Grahamstown (near Port Elizabeth) and it would cost me at least two days of lectures that I miss plus a R500 return ticket to Cape Town. I would like to go, but there seems to be now way of getting there.

Weird Mermaid found/Meermin gevind in Venda

Hy voeg by die owerhede ontken enige gebeurtenis.

One of Renske Jacobs' listeners sent her this foto early this morning. Barney said he will never swim in a dam again after this photograph was taken of a mermaid found in Venda. According to Barney, the authorities deny this.
Is this a manipulated photo or real? What is your opinion?

Roanda... jy moet kom kuier!

One of my best friends, Roanda, sent me a photo where she is enjoying herself far away in America. I realised how much I miss her and wish she would return to South Africa to visit me. Roanda said she is on her way to Miama and will visit Disney World as well.

Optical Illusion

I am always the first one to be sceptical about optical illusions, but this video just blew my mind. Try and see for yourself. (Best viewed in full screen).
